West Coast Lumber and Building Material Association Urges Support for Diane Harkey
(Sacramento, CA) – The West Coast Lumber and Building Material Association has announced its support and endorsement for Assemblywoman Diane Harkey in the open 4th District Board of Equalization seat. They join incumbent Michelle Steel along with dozens of trade associations and elected officials in supporting Harkey for this seat.
“California’s economy has been weak for too long, and that’s why we’re involved in this race for Diane Harkey,” said Ken Dunham, Executive Director of the West Coast Lumber and Building Material Association. “Diane has never been one to sit on the sidelines. Instead, she’s been actively involved in the fight to cut regulations and red tape that hold businesses back. On the Board of Equalization, she’ll make sure businesses and taxpayers get adequate representation ”
The West Coast Lumber & Building Material Association and its predecessor organizations have been the voice of independent lumber and building material dealers for nearly 100 years. One of the largest lumber industry organizations in the country, WCLBMA has over 325 member firms throughout the United States, with its largest membership in California.
