(Orange County, CA) – Providing even more momentum to her campaign for State Board of Equalization, Assemblywoman Diane Harkey continued this year to tally strong ratings from business and taxpayer groups, which also explains the strong backing she has received in her race for BOE.
For the 5th year straight, Diane Harkey again scored a 100% from the California Taxpayers Association (CalTax) for 2013. She also received a very strong 90% rating from the Orange County Business Council and a 95.3% rating from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.
“The Board of Equalization is essential to defining and stabilizing California tax policy,” said Harkey spokesman Tim Clark. “We need activist pro-taxpayer, pro-business representatives on the BOE who will fight for the fiscal health of our businesses and families. Passive seat-warming won’t cut it, and that’s one reason why Diane Harkey has such widespread support. Everyone knows Diane will stir things up to get things done on behalf of taxpayers and small business owners.”
