Riverside County Supervisor John Benoit announced today his endorsement for Diane Harkey for Board of Equalization – adding his name to that of fellow Supervisors Marion Ashley and Kevin Jeffries, as well as Riverside District Attorney Paul Zellerbach. Benoit’s support comes on the heels of a major endorsement for Harkey from the Orange County Republican Party, where Harkey also enjoys support from 4 of the 5 sitting Orange County Supervisors.
“Riverside and Orange Counties are strongly in Diane Harkey’s camp,” said Harkey strategist Tim Clark. “Together they form a strong majority of this District, helping boost even further Harkey’s front-runner status.”
Additionally, Harkey has followed the winning path of current BOE Member Michelle Steel and past BOE Member Claude Parrish by reserving major featuring on over 8 million Republican slate cards targeting over 10 million voter contacts among the District’s primary voters.
Both Michelle Steel and Claude Parrish have endorsed Diane Harkey, as have over four dozen GOP Members of Congress, legislators, and local elected officials.
