Continuing her consolidation of GOP support in the 4th Board of Equalization District, today Diane Harkey’s campaign announced that Riverside County District Attorney Paul Zellerbach has joined Riverside Supervisor Kevin Jeffries in supporting Diane Harkey for the BOE.
This announcement comes just one day after an unprecedented endorsement for Harkey by the Orange County Republican Party.
“With nearly 3.5 million voters in this District, having active and vocal endorsements from every County is essential to winning,” said Harkey strategist Tim Clark. “Both District Attorney Zellerbach and Supervisor Jeffries are well-known and widely-respected in Riverside County, and their support sends voters a very clear signal that Harkey is the trusted choice for this important seat.”
With a 30-year career in business finance and banking, Diane Harkey has gained broad support for Board of Equalization from across California’s business community, as well as from dozens of local elected officials, including BOE incumbent Michelle Steel and former BOE Member Claude Parrish.
Harkey is widely considered the odds-on-favorite to win the open 4th District Board of Equalization seat.
