Representing 99% of BOE District Voters, 4 County Parties have Taken Unprecedented Step in Giving Harkey Pre-Primary Endorsement
The San Bernardino County Republican Party voted last week to officially endorse Diane Harkey for the open 4th District Board of Equalization seat, joining the GOP County Parties in Orange, Riverside and San Diego Counties in supporting Diane Harkey for BOE.
“These four counties make up 99% of the voters in the Board of Equalization District,” said Harkey Strategist Tim Clark. “These county parties have all taken the unusual step of giving a pre-primary endorsement to Diane Harkey, and that speaks volumes about her popularity and support among this District’s GOP base.”
Additionally, Diane Harkey has gained the support of incumbent BOE Member Michelle Steel as well fellow BOE Member George Runner and as past incumbent Claude Parrish. Tax PAC, OC Taxpayers Association, and the Orange County Business Council have also added their support, as have over 50 federal, state, and local elected officials.
Harkey also occupies a prominent position on every single GOP slate card mailing for the June election – with multiple voter contacts (over 12 million in all) to the roughly 1.2 million voters expected to cast ballots.
“Diane has put together one of the strongest campaigns for a state constitutional office that Republicans have seen in decades,” concluded Clark.
