Orange County Young Republicans
also toss their support to Harkey
Over the past two days, Diane Harkey has picked up two more major GOP endorsements with the vote last night by the San Diego County Republican Party to endorse Harkey – joining the Orange County Republican Party which endorsed last month. Combined, the two counties make up nearly 75% of the expected June primary voters.
The Orange County Young Republicans, an active and vocal volunteer club, also voted to endorse Harkey last night, following the Coachella Valley Young Republicans that cast their support for Diane Harkey two weeks ago.
“Republican voters will look to recommendations from the County GOP Parties when voting on the Board of Equalization, and having the official endorsements of both Orange and San Diego Counties is a significant step toward winning this seat,” said Harkey Strategist Tim Clark. “Add major GOP volunteer groups like the Orange County Young Republicans, and that means Diane Harkey will have a broad and effective ground campaign to match her ten million slate card voter contacts.”
These endorsements follow the announcement of Congressman Darrell Issa’s support for Harkey, as well as a long list of elected leaders.
